Carrie Fisher is almost ready for that metal bikini again!
On Wednesday, the Star Wars actress, 54, debuted her 50-pound weight loss during an appearance on The Today Show. Fisher stunned in a black pantsuit and a cleavage-baring pink top.
The Hollywood vet and author slimmed down over the past nine months thanks to Jenny Craig, for whom she is a spokesperson.
When Fisher announced her Jenny Craig deal -- and weight loss goals -- back in January, she explained: "I'm pretty fearless, but my scale is frightening. So I would go to the doctor and I would stand not facing it. That's an adult! I have a child. So that’s something I'd like to not do anymore, be frightened of the scale."
During her Today Show appearance, she told Ann Curry "I couldn't leave the house" to go bra shopping. "I exhausted the alphabet on bra sizes."
And although Fisher had joked about trying on her iconic gold metal bikini she wore as Princess Lea in Return of the Jedi, she's not sure if women above the age of 50 should ever go sleeveless.
"I'm still probably not gonna wear a lot of sleeveless things. I lost 50 pounds. The Jenny Craig food is good....It tastes like you're cheating!"
What finally prompted her slimdown? "I weighed 3 million pounds! I couldn't look in the mirror. I thought that was getting old."
