Breaking News: Report: Jon Gosselin and Hailey Glassman Split

Is Jon Gosselin now a single man?
ExtraTV reports that the father of eight, 32, has broken up with his 22 year-old girlfriend, Hailey Glassman.
"They're taking a break," Extra notes.

A source close to the couple confirms this news to Usmagazine.com.
Earlier this week, Glassman told The Insider that she felt "emotionally abused" by Gosselin and that he is prone to "mantrums." "I don't know why I love him," she said.

"They broke up the day she did that interview," the source tells Us. "She told me it was gonna be over. She was just waiting to let him go."
Yesterday, Gosselin, 32, announced that he was seeking spiritual counsel from Rabbi Shmuley Boteach. He admitted in a statement that he got "carried away by the challenges of fame" and yearns to "reconnect with my deeper, more spiritual, more altruistic self."

The couple (she is the daughter of Kate Gosselin's plastic surgeon) got together this past summer, and were photographed the weekend of Oct. 17 taking a romantic, PDA-filled carriage-ride in New York's Central Park.

I need to be where the action is and I thrive on being admired, and being in front of a camera is my standard now. Being stuck at home living on residuals and raising my eight brats isn't glamorous enough. Besides, they exacerbate my bipolar disorder.

This man is the worst example of a parent I have ever seen. He is truely pathetic and I hope his sons do not take after him. As for Kate...YOU CAN DO SO MUCH BETTER!!!!!!!!!!
I don't think she was in it for the long run and if he started being abusive then it wasn't fun anymore. She's 22 and a bit wild so on her part it was probably just for fun. Jon talks about not wanting fame but he keeps going on shows and doing things like talking to the Rabbi publicly rather than privately. I think he messed up his "character" and now wants a better persona so he can get a show or work in the entertainment field.

Everything in the news is all bs. None of it is real. The interview on ET filmed for monday is a crock. Haileys parents are as full of it as she is. How can anyone respond as though this isn't another failed attempt for a show? It was proven Jon was willing to film with Octomom and Hailey. They have to do something to make it look like he is single to stir up interest.(puke) Makes me gag that he believes we are this stupid. He flies to LA to film a fake breakup on ET. Mary Hart is worse than Kate Majors.
I love and admire Kate. She is a beautiful strong woman and a loving Mother. Jon has no idea what a parent is. Jon only cares about himself, he never was a Father to those children. Poor Hailey was wanting out of her relationship with Jon for many months now, and he would not allow her to? What type of man does that? I will forever be a TEAM KATE MEMBER.
