Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed might be back from their honeymoon, but they’re definitely still in the honeymoon phase!
The Vampire Diaries star, who said “I do” to the Twilight actress in an intimate wedding in Santa Monica last month, shared a shirtless snap from their trip on Wednesday, May 13, thanking his “beautiful” wife.
“Feet back on US soil aka… New York City. Dreaming of the Costa Rica rainforest. Thank you to this beautiful country: its land and its people. Thank you to this beautiful woman who makes every day a dream come true. Pura Vida,” Somerhalder captioned the romantic snap with Reed.
The newlyweds, who got engaged after just six months of dating, looked happier than ever while enjoying their scenic-looking vacation. Grinning from ear to ear, Reed captioned an Instagram of herself in Somerhalder’s embrace: “Salty…sandy…sticky…sunburned. The best. I love this human. My human.”
Their happiness is even undeniable to Somerhalder’s ex-girlfriend Nina Dobrev. During a recent interview, the 36-year-old’s co-star revealed she was “happy” for her ex and his new wife.
