Khloe Kardashian's reps released a statement to Us Weekly on Friday, Oct. 16, asking Love Ranch South brothel owner, Dennis Hof, to show some respect while Lamar Odom remains in critical condition.

"We reached out to Dennis," the statement to Us read. "Politely asking him to respect Lamar’s (and Khloe’s) privacy during this difficult time, and refrain from talking to the press. This is a very painful situation, as I know you are aware, and the idea that anyone would use it to seek publicity is really sad."

Hof has been speaking out with various media outlets after Odom, 35, was found unconscious in a VIP suite this past Tuesday, Oct. 13. In an interview with Wendy Williams on Thursday, Hof divulged how much Odom spent on his stay inside the legal brothel, where he checked in last Saturday.

"You can spend a few hundred or a few million there. Lamar wanted a long period of time. He gave the girls $75,000 but he planned on being there a long time, at least five days," Hof told Williams. "He called and wanted me to come down, we were going to have [a] little birthday party for me, so it would have ended up being like 10 days by the time he left."

The ranch owner reacted to the rep's statement on Thursday while speaking to another outlet, CBS News. "I know what happened," Hof said. "I'm the one protecting my business and telling the truth about it."

Meanwhile, the Kardashian family collectively released statements late Thursday night via their websites. "As a family, we've decided to hold off on publishing content across our apps while we continue to support and pray for Lamar," the statement read. "Thank you for your kindness and understanding during this difficult time."

Kris Jenner, and some of her kids, Rob Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian, Kendall Jenner, and Kylie Jenner have all asked for prayers via social media since Odom's incident. The former NBA player's children, Destiny and Lamar Jr., have also released a separate statement.

"Thanks for your outpouring of prayers and support for our dad. We are here with our family and friends," the children, whom Odom shares with his ex Liza Morales, told Us Weekly. "We appreciate everyone respecting our privacy at this time. We ask for your continued prayers."

Odom remains in critical condition. As reported by Us, the basketball player is still legally married to the reality star, leaving Kardashian responsible for his medical decisions. “It’s very hard on her even though he’s her ex,” an insider told Us of Kardashian, who filed for divorce from Odom in December 2013. “There’s still a lot of emotion there and she wouldn’t want to ever see him like this. And to have to make decisions on top of it now is also very hard. It’s a lot on her shoulders and a lot weighing on her."
