Kristen Stewart is tougher than she looks!

While filming a battle scene for their new movie Snow White and the Huntsman, the actress got a little carried away while sparring with costar Chris Hemsworth, 28.

"We were doing a scene where Kristen had to punch me, and each take I could feel her knuckles getting closer and closer to the end of my nose," Hemsworth said on AOL's Moviephone Unscripted. "It skimmed my nose and I thought, 'This is really going to hurt.'"

Stewart, 22, joked: "He was really intimidated because he didn't say anything to me. If he would have just told me!"

"I was just in the zone, I guess," Hemsworth conceded. "It was a right hook to the side of my nose. I was like, 'Is it bad?' And everyone [backed away and gasped]. I thought it broke, for sure. [There were] rivers of blood."

According to Stewart, the buff Aussie "had this look on his face like he was going to be really cool about it."

At the film's London premiere, Hemsworth told Us Weekly he "wasn't ready" or "poised" for Stewart's attack. "I didn't have my guard up and she knocked me out."

When costar Charlize Theron, 36, asked Stewart how it felt to strike Hemsworth, the brunette starlet responded: "It feels way too good at first, and then it makes you feel horrible. You're like, 'Oh my gosh, are you ok?"

Snow White and the Huntsman is in theaters June 1.
