Miranda Lambert Canceled Her Concert After Blake Shelton Filed for Divorce

Miranda Lambert canceled a concert in Calgary, Canada, after Blake Shelton filed for divorce several weeks ago -- get the details here.

Time tells all. Miranda Lambert canceled a concert in Calgary, Canada, several weeks ago, citing an illness, but the timing appears to have been all-too-coincidental after records from Blake Shelton's divorce filing were revealed on Tuesday, July 21.

The "Mama's Broken Heart" singer, 31, was set to perform at the Saddledome on July 9, but Lambert canceled her show on July 8, two days after Shelton filed for divorce. (As records have revealed, Shelton initiated the divorce on July 6, having his lawyer file the papers in Oklahoma.)

At the time of her cancellation, Lambert said that she was unable to perform in Calgary due to her vocal chords being strained from inflammation.

"I can’t believe this is happening," the "Over You" songstress wrote to her fans in a blog post. "I am sure most of you heard the news about the show in Calgary having to be rescheduled due to my vocal issues. Thanks for all your posts and well wishes, I promise I will do everything to get better quickly!"

Instead, organizers said Lambert would be rescheduling her return to Calgary at a "later date yet to be determined."

Then on Monday, July 20. Lambert and Shelton, 39, confirmed their split to Us Weekly in a joint statement. "This is not the future we envisioned," the stars reflected to Us. "And it is with heavy hearts that we move forward separately."

Hours after they announced their split, Us confirmed that a judge signed off on their divorce. He and Lambert were able to finalize their divorce within two weeks with both parties agreeing to the terms of their prenuptial agreement. A judge signed off on Monday.

Lambert has yet to break her silence via social media since the news of the split was announced on Monday. Meanwhile, her ex Shelton has shared several lighthearted tweets unrelated to the split starting Tuesday. He told fans that he was back in the coach's chair on The Voice on Wednesday, July 22.

While Shelton seems unfazed by the sudden split, a source close to the "Boys 'Round Here" hitmaker tells Us in the new issue that he is "really broken up" and "just devastated" by his divorce.

Like Shelton, Lambert is equally "heartbroken, sad, and confused," another source tells Us.
