Ricki Lake's House Burns Down

Ricki Lake and her family are okay after their Mailibu beach rental burned down on Saturday.
The actress and former talk-show host escaped the property Saturday morning with her two sons and their dog when the wooden house rapidly went up in flames, her rep told Entertainment Tonight.

L.A. County firemen responded to a 911 call from the house; a caller explained that a couch was ablaze.
Lake, 41, explained to authorities the potential cause of the fire: she was attempting to refuel a portable heater when the couch caught fire.
Lake's sons Sebastian, 13, and Owen, 9, are with her ex-husband Rob Sussman.
