Oh snap! The battle in daytime television continues — but this time between the ladies of The Talk and The View! During a recent appearance on The Arsenio Hall Show, Sharon Osbourne — alongside her fellow Talk co-hosts — blatantly told the women at The View to go “f–k themselves.”
“What’s the difference between The Talk and The View?” host Hall, 57, asked the women. “We do not discuss politics. We do not debate,” Julie Chen said. “I always say The View has changed over the years as the players have changed.” But before the Big Brother host could continue, the audience began to laugh as Osbourne, 61, was seen rolling her eyes and throwing her red plastic cup in the air after taking a big swig of something to drink.
“Cut to the chase! Stop being polite. Cut to the f–king chase!” Jack and Kelly Osbourne’s mom interrupted. “This is the situation. The situation is Barbara [Walters] — idolize her. Divine. She’s superhuman. I love Barbara Walters. The rest can go f–k themselves.”
The Talk premiered in 2010 and has featured Osbourne, Chen and Sara Gilbert since its first season. Sheryl Underwood and Aisha Tyler joined in 2011. Other previous co-hosts have included Leah Remini, Holly Robinson Peete and Marissa Jaret Winokur.
The View debuted 13 years earlier in 1997. The talk show currently features Walters, Whoopi Goldberg, Sherri Shepard and newbie Jenny McCarthy. The ABC series experienced quite the shakeup this year when both Elisabeth Hasselbeck and Joy Behar left within one month of each other.
