Talk about abs envy! Olympic gold medalists Simone Biles, Aly Raisman and Madison Kocian showed off their enviable six-packs when they ditched their crystal-studded leotards for bikinis in Rio on Saturday, August 20.
The gymnasts hit the beach at Barra da Tijuca the day before Biles was set to carry the U.S. flag (the first American female gymnast to be given the honor) at the closing ceremony for the 2016 Summer Olympics.
Biles, 19, who won four gold medals and a bronze at the Olympics, shared a pic on Instagram with Raisman, 22, and Kocian, 19, as they enjoyed some fun in the sun.
But they didn’t just work on their tans and cool off in the water — the Final Five teammates had energy to spare as Biles and Kocian also jumped for joy in a cute Instagram video.
And it wasn’t just a girls’ day out for Biles, who won the heart of Zac Efron earlier this week when the Neighbors star came to Rio. The golden girl got a piggyback ride near the pool from British gymnast Brinn Bevan, who shared the pic on Instagram, writing, “Everyday be pool day.”
On Sunday, August 21, as athletes from around the world prepared to say goodbye to Brazil after two weeks of competition, Biles prepped for the Olympic closing ceremony with a little help from her roommate, Laurie Hernandez.
Biles Snapchatted a pic of the 16-year-old ironing her shirt, writing, “Thanks roomie!” and later shared another photo of the pair all dressed up in their official Polo Ralph Lauren outfits.
