The country superstar, 49, wished his wife of 20 years a happy 49th birthday with an adorable Instagram post on Wednesday, September 21.

“Happy birthday to this crazy, talented, beautiful woman. I am so lucky to be married to and be with her for the rest of my life,” McGraw wrote alongside a throwback photo of Hill with retro-looking volumnized hair and a pearly white smile. “The best mother and role model that my 3 daughters could possibly have. She is extraordinary!!”

The couple are parents of daughters Gracie, 19, Maggie 18, and Audrey, 14.

Earlier this month, Hill made headlines after sharing an Instagram video of herself and Maggie singing along to a Taylor Swift tune in the car.

“Day 1: #BadBlood singalong w/ Maggie on the way to college! @taylorswift,” Hill captioned the cute video from their road trip.

The “Shotgun Rider” singer and Hill will celebrate their 20th wedding anniversary next month. During an interview with Taste of Country published in August, McGraw revealed the key to their marriage is listening to each other.

“I’ve also learned that when you look at politics and you look at the world we live in and everything else, there’s really no definite answers to anything,” he added. “There’s a lot of sort of figuring your way out with every move that you make. I think that you find that out as you get older and that really has to do with relationships, as well.”

McGraw proposed to Hill in 1996 during the Country Jam in Colorado. During an October 2015 appearance on the Today show, he revealed that after telling Hill that he wanted to marry her, moments before he was set to go on stage, the songstress wrote, “Yes, I’m going to be your wife” on her trailer mirror in Sharpie with a bevy of lipstick kisses around it.
