The proudest ‘maid! Amy Schumer was a bridesmaid in her friend’s wedding this past weekend, and she wore a classic strapless dress for the special day.
The Emmy-winning comedian, 35, shared a snap with the newlyweds via Instagram on Sunday, August 14. “Congratulations to @tara_alana and @rustolleum in the best wedding ever,” she captioned. “Very proud to be a braid.”

The photo showed off her blush gown, which boasted a sweetheart neckline, a crisscrossed bodice and a pleated skirt. The Inside Amy Schumer star styled her blonde tresses into a braided updo and lined her eyes. Meanwhile, the bride chose a curve-hugging dress with a mermaid hemline.
Also in the photo? Schumer’s boyfriend of more than half a year, Ben Hanisch. The Chicago-based furniture designer smiled for the camera while clad in a tux, accented by a boutonniere. The couple made their relationship Instagram official back in January, when Schumer shared pics with her man. In his own post, Hanisch wrote, “Sometimes in life you get extremely lucky, and the smartest, funniest, most beautiful woman comes along when you least expect it. Here’s to what adventures 2016 brings!”
