Newly single Lauren Conrad's got a funky new 'do!

Fresh from her split from My Boys actor Kyle Howard, the reality star hit the hair salon Friday to revamp her tresses.

Prior to debuting her new look on Twitter, Conrad, 25, polled fans on her BeautyDepartment.com blog as to whether or not she should adopt the funky new 'do, which features pink, purple and green streaks.

When fans overwhelmingly voted for her to move forward with the streaks, Conrad delivered. "You voted and I did it. Thanks for playing," she blogged late Friday, posting a pic of her colorful coif.

Hopefully Conrad's new 'do will lift her spirits in the wake of her June breakup from Howard, which friends say left her "heartbroken."

"She wants to be married and have kids," a source tells Us Weekly of the author and designer.
