Sophie Turner Stuns In a Modern Take on the Skort

Throwing it back! Perhaps Sophie Turner didn’t feel like choosing between a skirt and pants while promoting X-Men: Apocalypse, so she chose both.

During her Beijing press conference on Wednesday, May 18, the Game of Thrones actress, 20, tucked a trendy, ruffled off-the-shoulder Rosetta Getty top into a pair of bottoms from the same brand. The high-rise shorts stopped just above the thigh and featured an open-front skirt overlay that hit below the knee. Turner accessorized the modern look with a gold choker and a simple pair of patent-leather pumps, and fashioned her red locks into a partial crown braid (very similar to a style Sansa Stark would wear on Game of Thrones).

While Turner’s look is stylish, she refuses to subscribe to trends. “I’ve only just come to realize it isn’t about dressing in what’s fashionable, it’s about dressing for your shape,” she told InStyle UK. “When I was 13, I was tiny and could wear pretty much anything. Now I’ve gone through adolescence, I’m just figuring out what clothes suit me. I can’t just throw anything on anymore.”
