One Direction now has two directions!

The buzzed-about British-Irish boy band has landed its own Nickelodeon TV show, the network confirmed via Twitter Wednesday.

"The rumors are true, our live-action slate does include a development project for One Direction. Welcome to the family!" the network tweeted from their official Twitter account.

Not everyone is as thrilled that One Direction, who got their big break when they came in third on British X Factor in 2010, is making their move to television.

Immediately following Nick's confirmation, tons of disgruntled fans responded with tweets using the hashtag "#1DPleaseDontGoToNick" about wanting the group to stick to music only.

Band members Niall Horan, 18, Zayn Malik, 19, Liam Payne, 18, Harry Styles, 18, and Louis Tomlinson, 20 follow in the footsteps of teen singers Victoria Justice (of Victorious) and Big Time Rush (of Big Time Rush), who have landed shows on the young viewers channel.
