The cameras never bothered her anyway! Georgina Haig got the chance to play one of the newest, most popular Disney princesses on Wednesday, July 16, slipping into her role as Frozen’s Queen Elsa on the Once Upon a Time set.
The ABC fairy tale drama has cast three new characters to play the live-action, human versions of characters from the popular Disney animated musical—Elsa (Haig), Kristoff (Scott Michael Foster), and Anna (Elizabeth Lail).
On the show’s Vancouver set, Haig donned her character’s ice-blue gown, completing the look with Elsa’s signature blonde side braid. When the cameras stopped rolling, she was spotted hanging out with her new costars Colin O’Donoghue (Captain Hook) and Jennifer Morrison (Emma Swan).
In the global blockbuster based on the Hans Christian Andersen fairy tale The Snow Queen, Broadway legend Idina Menzel voiced Elsa, singing the film’s hit song “Let It Go,” with Glee’s Jonathan Groff voicing Kristoff, and Kristen Bell bringing the headstrong Anna to life.
Australian actress Haig had a recurring role as Etta on Fringe, and appeared in the indie flick The Sapphires alongside Chris O’Dowd. She’s currently starring as Lee Anne Marcus on CBS’s summer drama Reckless.
