Not quite rude! John Stamos recently took part in a press event for Fox’s comedic horror series Scream Queens, where he teased the possibility of Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen dropping by as guest stars.

The show’s cast and producers told the crowd at their San Diego Comic-Con panel earlier this month that several famous faces will be appearing as it moves from a cursed sorority house to a creepy hospital for season 2. Colton Haynes and Cecily Strong are among the guests in the upcoming episodes.

Stamos, 52, who plays a doctor with a fake hand on the slasher show, claimed that the 30-year-old Olsen twins would also be joining the Scream Queens cast, but he quickly pointed out that he was just joking.

“That would be amazing!” the Grandfathered alum said. “I can’t even get them on my show.”

This is not the first time that the Full House cast has joked about the former actress-turned-entrepreneur siblings opting not to appear in Netflix’s reboot. The Fuller House season 1 premiere includes a jab about Michelle Tanner moving to New York to pursue her fashion career (as the real-life Olsens have done), while Stamos himself quipped at a charity event in March about not being able to find the successful sisters.

Stamos and Taylor Lautner are both joining Scream Queens‘ new season as series regulars, teaming with returning cast members Emma Roberts, Lea Michele, Abigail Breslin, Keke Palmer and Jamie Lee Curtis.

During the panel, Roberts also hinted at her possible return to FX’s American Horror Story, which she appeared on during seasons 3 and 4.

The Hotel for Dogs actress, 25, said there “might be” a chance that she’ll return to AHS, as she almost appeared last season but had to back out due to schedule conflicts.

“I would love to go back and do a few episodes,” Roberts said.

Scream Queens returns to Fox on Tuesday, September 20. American Horror Story season 6 launches on FX Wednesday, September 14, at 10 p.m. ET. Netflix has not yet announced a release date for Fuller House season 2.
