Air Date: Sunday 6/27

Season seven starts as breezily as ever, with Vince (Adrian Grenier) -- now a bona fide star -- making another action flick. Just one glitch: The director wants him to do (gulp) his own stunt crash, which leaves Vince shaking. It's about time Grenier's too-cool-for-school character was given more dimension, and the star has never been funnier (in next week's episode, all that pressure hilariously leads Vince to chop off his own hair!). As usual, the show's chock-full of cheeky Hollywood insight, and the rest of the guys have found fresh, entertaining distractions. Drama (Kevin Dillon, perfect again) yearns to star in a silly '80s remake, Turtle (Jerry Ferrara) has a feisty crush and Ari (Jeremy Piven) and Eric (Kevin Connolly) get swept up doing deals in a new arena: football. So far, this looks like a winning season. (HBO, 10:30 P.M.)
