Amazingly, this long-in-the-tooth melodrama remains addictive! In the first episode after a long break, Brooke (Sophia Bush) helps her movie-producer beau, Julian (Austin Nichols), deal with a setback: a sex tape of his two stars. From there, witness a parade of corny romantic intrigue: Widower Clayton (Robert Buckley) finally finds true love again, and someone else spontaneously proposes. At least those story lines move at a nice clip, and Hill can still pull the heartstrings. Just try not to tear up when Haley (Bethany Joy Galeotti) cries over a lost loved one. (CW, 8 P.M.)
