Should Housewives' Cynthia Bailey Have Gotten Hitched?
She said "I do" -- but was it the right decision?
On Sunday's finale of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, self-proclaimed "runaway bride" Cynthia Bailey finally walked down the aisle with her much-older man, Peter Thomas.
But the ceremony -- attended by Bailey's costars Kim Zolciak, NeNe Leakes and Sheree Whitfield -- didn't go off without a hitch.
From hours of hair and makeup to Thomas showing up to the church seemingly intoxicated, Bailey's big day was full of drama.
Looming over the couple's special day? Money woes.
After Bailey's restauranteur fiance was forced to shutter the business the couple ran, Bailey's family wondered if she'd be making the right move getting hitched to Thomas as his finances dwindled.
The reality star's mom and sister, Malorie, were so alarmed that they attempted to hide the couple's marriage license so the ceremony would not be legal.
In the end -- after much consideration as to if marriage was right for her -- Bailey wed Thomas as her family stood by.
