Just seven hours after giving birth on April 23, a flawless Duchess Kate appeared outside the Lindo Wing at St. Mary’s hospital in London, cradling her bundle of joy. Not only was she standing up — a miracle in itself ! — but she was wearing high heels. Popular blogger Constance Hall, who welcomed her fifth child on Monday, May 28, decided to recreate the picture — and it’s hilarious.
Hall shared side-by-side images of the royal family and her brood emerging from the hospital with their newest additions. Kate, 36, who is perfectly coiffed and clad in a red Jenny Packham shift dress, gazes lovingly at newborn Prince Louis. Australia-based Hall, also wears a cherry-hued design, but her hair is gnarled, she’s rocking compression socks and she’s breast-feeding. The 32-year-old captioned her post: “Oh god Kate . . . the things they expect of us royals. I hear ya babe i hear ya.”
It should come as no surprise that Hall’s comparison is resonating with her social media followers. “We all know the princess has undies on that sit just under her tits,” wrote one person, referring to the mesh, disposable underwear given to postpartum moms. Added another: “You should see my first family photo. I don’t even even know if I had any clothes on!”
Hall and her husband, Denim Cooke, chose the name Raja for their son. His moniker means king, royalty and optimism in different languages. She has four children from a previous relationship and he has two. Hall appeared on Big Brother Australia in 2005.
Kate, meanwhile, is also mom of Prince George, 4, and Princess Charlotte, 3, with Prince William.
