Taylor Swift has a lot of famous friends in her address book, which is both a blessing and a curse.
The most high-profile celebrity in Swift's rolodex is Academy Award winner Gwyneth Paltrow, 40. "But it means I have a strict rule that I don't have my phone on me when I drink!" the "State of Grace" singer, 22, tells British newspaper The Sun.
Swift most recently got starstruck when she met English pop star Ellie Goulding at The Jonathan Ross Show. "She's so cool," the CoverGirl spokeswoman raves of the "Starry Eyed" singer. "Plus, she sang at the royal wedding."
Though her BFFs include Selena Gomez and Emma Stone, Swift prefers not to focus on her pals' A-list statuses. "I have friends from all fields — people who are in school, actresses and singers," the country music star says.
"It's surprising how we don't talk shop," she insists of quality time with Gomez and Stone. "You'd think we'd get together and discuss the stresses of fame but we actually just talk about boys like all the other girls. We don't run through each other's scripts or compare set lists."
Swift is currently promoting her fourth album, Red (in stores now). "When I brought out my first album at 16, my biggest fear was that no one would ever hear it," the Pennsylvania native tells The Sun. "Now I feel really lucky as it's guaranteed there will be loud opinions on it. Now my concerns are that those opinions are good."
