Jay-Z knows how to take care of his client! The 43-year-old rapper turned sports agent gave basketball player Skylar Diggins a new Mercedes Benz as a gift after graduating from the University of Notre Dame on Sunday, May 19.
“Congrats to new Notre Dame grad Skylar Diggins! Thanks to Dancy Auto Group for helping with her surprise gift,” Jay-Z’s sports representation agency, Roc Nation Sports, tweeted with pictures of Diggins in her cap and gown posing by a white Mercedes decorated with a a red bow.
“Got surprised with a new mercedes! Thanks so much to Jay and Roc Nation, and Dancy Auto Group!” Diggins tweeted with a pictures of the car and a card signed by Jay-Z telling her to “enjoy.” She jokingly added, “I got 99 problems, but a BENZ ain’t one.”
Diggins, 22, is one of Jay-Z’s first clients, and was drafted third overall by the Tulsa Shock in the 2013 WNBA Draft. She graduated from Notre Dame’s Mendoza College of Business as a management-entrepreneurship major.
“Great to share this moment with my family who’s been there since day 1, along with my new Roc Nation and Tulsa Shock family!” the graduate tweeted. “Blessed.”
