Lupita’s hairstyling lessons 101!
Lupita Nyong’o isn’t letting her short-cropped hair hold her back from trying out different styles on the red carpet. She’s fashioned her hair into a mini-bouffant, side-swept ‘do, mini-buns, and more.
At the Non-Stop premiere in Los Angeles on Feb. 24, Nyong’o, 30, wore a mini mohawk. With two parts on the side of her head, her hair was swept up for a soft, wind-swept effect. The edgy style perfectly paired with her bright blue eyeshadow and copper Lanvin dress.

At the NAACP Image Awards on Feb. 22, Nyong’o, in a burnt orange Givenchy gown, rocked two mini-buns on the top of her hair. The daring style complemented the dramatic neckline of her dress and peach eye makeup.

Nyong’o faked a widows peak at the Critics’ Choice Awards on Feb. 19. Celeb stylist Ted Gibson created the look using a fiber filling agent on her hairline and set it with hairspray.
A the Hollywood Reporter‘s Nominee Party on Feb. 10, Nyong’o styled her hair in a side-swept peak. Hairstylist Larry Sims first applied Go Pro curls with Larry Sims Butter Bouncin cream on her damp hair and then blew it dry, using a Mason Pearson brush to create the “sloped shape,” he told Glamour.
