Making Very Bad look oh so good on the big screen! The first look at the upcoming adaptation of Judith Viorst‘s classic children’s book Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day has finally arrived!
Steve Carell and Jennifer Garner star as the parents of 11-year-old Alexander (played by Ed Oxenbould), who unlike in the book, spreads his horrible luck to his entire family. The clip reveals galore: Carell chasing a kangaroo in pirate garb, Garner tripping on a bike, and a science class that ends up in flames.
The film also features 16-year-old actress Bella Thorne, formerly of Disney’s Shake It Up, which aired its series finale last year. In one of her first post-Disney roles, the 16-year-old redheaded star plays the girlfriend of Alexander’s big brother—who accidentally offends her over the phone with a bratty comment meant for his sibling in the same room.
Rounding out the cast is Megan Mullally, Jennifer Coolidge and Donald Glover. The movie will hit theaters on October 10.
