Watch out, Amy Poehler — Tina Fey may just have a new favorite bestie named Amy. The 30 Rock alum, 45, took the stage at New York City’s Cipriani Wall Street on Sunday, May 31, to present a Peabody Award to gal pal Amy Schumer.
The comedienne, 34, was honored for her comedy show Inside Amy Schumer. The hilarious star was introduced by Fey, who celebrated Schumer’s huge success before grabbing her and passionately kissing her.
The two women, who both wore black ensembles for the Manhattan affair, got into the steamy moment, holding close to one another as they made out. The sexy embrace followed kind words from Fey, who gushed of her friend, “[She’s] killing it, as the agents like to say. Usually they are lying. But in this case it is true. Amy is killing it. She is the biggest deal in comedy right now.”
After the celebratory show, Schumer retweeted a photo of her kiss with Fey that read, “So this just happened. #Peabody @amyschumer #TinaFey #Goddesses,” and posted another shot of herself posing with the Saturday Night Live alum, referring to her as “the queen.”
This is hardly the first girl-on-girl kiss that the Trainwreck actress has shared, let alone the only one she’s pulled off at an awards show.
This past April, Schumer had an intimate moment with Amber Rose at the 2015 MTV Movie Awards. The two beauties had a wild makeout in the audience at Los Angeles’ Nokia Theatre, kissing as the show went to commercials.
