Little Monsters, are you ready? Lady Gaga is set to perform at the 2017 Super Bowl Halftime Show, one of the biggest gigs on the planet, but she’ll be debuting her new music in a much more intimate way.
The American Horror Story actress announced the Bud Light x Lady Gaga Dive Bar tour on Sunday, October 2, a mini-tour scheduled for October that will take Gaga to the kinds of places that gave her her start.
“My first performances were in dive bars in New York City and around the country, so working with Bud Light to go back to my roots to perform songs from my new album, Joanne, is such an exciting way to connect with my fans and share this music with them for the first time,” said Lady Gaga in a release announcing the endeavor.
The “Perfect Illusion” singer also tweeted: “Can’t wait to sing new songs from my album #JOANNE for you on my #DiveBarTour with @budlight! First show Oct 5!”

The Grammy-winning artist is set to release her fifth studio album, Joanne, on Friday, October 21. Gaga, 30, explained the album’s title, a sweet tribute to Joanne Germanotta, her father’s late sister, in a September 15 interview with Zayn Lowe on Beats 1.
“When Mark [Ronson] and I wrote it, the decision to name the album that was in tribute to my father’s sister, who died when she was 19. He was younger than her. She was very sick with Lupus. The death of her in his family and life left a scar that never healed.”
She continued, “[The album is] everything about Joanne, which also happens to be my middle name. It’s all the toughness of the pain of losing her that made us all strong and made us who we are. She is the woman of my past who is becoming and helping me bring more of my honest woman self into the future.”
The Bud Light x Lady Gaga Dive Bar Tour has three dates: October 5, 20 and 27. The first show, which takes place this Wednesday at an as yet undisclosed U.S. venue and will feature the debut of a brand new song called “Million Reasons,” will be live-streamed via Facebook Live at 10 p.m. EST on Bud Light’s Facebook page.
