Have we finally solved it?!
With the Fuller House premiere approaching and still no sign of Mary-Kate Olsen and Ashley Olsen joining their Full House costars, we may finally have an answer as to why: shoes.
As reported by Footwear News, the Olsens’ beloved high-fashion line, The Row, is releasing its first footwear collection this May, a huge expansion for the 10-year line.

The collection will include seven styles in various colors and fabrics, including mules with acrylic heels and chocolate-hue loafers. But the shoes aren’t for the budget-conscious: They’ll retail from $850 to $1,145 in the same stores currently selling the twins’ CFDA-awarded line. (The sisters also share the Elizabeth and James label.)
“Footwear was the natural next category for The Row,” Mary-Kate, 29, who married French banker Olivier Sarkozy this past November, told FN. “We want to provide our customers with all her essentials. We hope The Row shoe collection will do that.”

But not before doing their homework! As Ashley explained, “We have worked with Christian Louboutin, Manolo Blahnik, Barbara Shaum and Enzo Bonafè, among a few others. We wanted to approach footwear organically and have a better understanding of the market before launching an in-house shoe collection.”
