Biography:
Sarah Michelle Gellar‘s claim to fame? Her leading role as Buffy Summers in the hit series Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
Born in 1977 in the Big Apple, she has starred in numerous teen flicks since her stint as a sexy vampire killer, including Cruel Intentions and I Know What You Did Last Summer – both films that have contributed to her title as a Hollywood “scream queen.”
Gellar married actor Freddie Prinze, Jr. in 2002. The couple met in 1997 while filming I Know What You Did Last Summer but did not begin dating until 2000. Prinze and Gellar welcomed their first child, daughter Charlotte Grace, in September 2009. Ringer star Gellar and Prinze welcomed a son in September 2012.
