Andy Samberg

Andrew David Samberg was born August 18, 1978, in Berkeley, California. Samberg’s comedy fame began with the comedy group The Lonely Island, which he cofounded. The Lonely Island quickly rose to internet fame by 2004, and in September 2005, Samberg joined the cast of Saturday Night Live.
The young talent garnered media attention through his wildly popular Digital Short comedies “Lazy Sunday” in December 2005, costarring Chris Parnell, and “Dick in a Box” with Justin Timberlake in December 2006, which earned Samberg and Timberlake a Creative Arts Emmy.
In 2007, he expanded his career to the Silver Screen with Hot Rod, and is continually working on SNL and future big-screen productions.
