Joe Amabile

Joe Amabile was a grocery store owner from Chicago when he went on season 14 of The Bachelorette in 2018. Although he didn’t win Becca Kufrin’s final rose, Amabile became a fan favorite.

He went on to compete on season 5 of Bachelor in Paradise, which aired in summer 2018. Amabile fell for Kendall Long while filming the ABC dating show spinoff. The pair broke up on the beach, but quickly rekindled their romance outside of the show. They were back together by the season 5 finale, which aired in September 2018.

Amabile relocated to Los Angeles to compete on season 27 of Dancing With the Stars alongside pro Jenna Johnson. Less than one year after moving in with Long in California, she and Amabile announced in January 2020 that they had split. The former grocer eventually returned to Chicago.

The TV personality runs a food vlog where he highlights the best dishes Chicago and the surrounding areas have to offer. He also shares recipes, many of which feature his pasta sauce, Sundays With Joe, which hit shelves in 2020.

Amabile, who hosts the “Click Bait” podcast alongside Tayshia Adams and Natasha Parker, returned to Bachelor in Paradise for season 7 in summer 2021. Long also appeared on the same season. Amabile and Serena Pitt got engaged during the finale. The couple wed in October 2022.
