Shannon Elizabeth

Shannon Elizabeth is an American actress and former model best known for her breakout role in American Pie. Elizabeth was raised in Waco, Texas, where she developed an early interest in tennis and considered pursuing it professionally. She briefly shifted her focus to modeling before she began acting, later moving to Los Angeles with the hope of making it in Hollywood.

Elizabeth rose to fame in 1999 with her role as Nadia in American Pie, quickly making her a pop culture fixture. She went on to appear in a string of comedy films and genre projects, including Scary Movie (2000) and Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back (2019). In 2008, she expanded her television presence by competing on Dancing With the Stars, during which she was partnered with Derek Hough.

Her additional credits include films like Love Actually (2003), Cursed (2005) and Playing With Beethoven (2020). Outside of acting, Elizabeth is also a professional poker player and is involved in animal advocacy, founding the nonprofit Animal Avengers.

Elizabeth was married to Joseph D. Reitman from 2002 to 2005. She later wed Simon Borchert in 2021. She announced their separation in 2026 and subsequently filed for divorce.
