“Dear pregnancy insomnia,” the 35-year-old tweeted in the early hours of Friday, December 21. “Please go bother someone else…like dads. Go bother dads. My husband sleeps so soundly and peacefully and I’ve been awake for 2 hours (so far). How is this fair? Imma lose my mind!”

Underwood and husband Mike Fisher are also parents of 3-year-old son Isaiah. The couple, who tied the knot in 2010, announced in August that the American Idol alum is pregnant with baby No. 2.

Five hours after Underwood’s first tweet about her sleep struggles, she revealed she did some online shopping in the middle of the night.

“Worst part about insomnia = waking up this morning to see what I bought online while I was up. I just realized I spent over $600 on make up,” she tweeted, adding the hashtags “#SeemedLikeAGoodIdeaAtTheTime #HelpMe #TakeAwayMyShoppingApps #ButThereWasASale.”

While cohosting the Country Music Awards in November, Underwood, who previously revealed she suffered multiple miscarriages in the past, announced that she is pregnant with her second boy. She spoke to Us Weekly about expanding her family backstage at the show.
