Giving their seal of approval! Jennifer Lopez’s 11-year-old twins, Emme and Max, would be on board if she and Alex Rodriguez had a baby together.
“I think they would love to have a brother or sister,” the Grammy nominee, 50, told Extra on Friday, September 27. “They love having [Alex’s daughters] Natasha and Ella in their lives and having two extra bonus sisters. … We really form a beautiful blended family, and I think they would all be thrilled.”
Earlier this month, the “El Anillo” singer opened up about having children with the former professional baseball player, 44. “Yeah,” the New York native said when Hoda Kotb asked whether she wanted a baby with her fiancé in a September 13 SiriusXM interview.
The athlete’s reponse to this? “Interesting,” he said. That’s a lot to unpack.” Rodriguez went on to tell Kotb, who adopted Haley, 2, and Hope, 5 months: “I see how happy you are, and I think she may want to follow in your footsteps. Maybe we’ll have you over to give us a little teaching, a little tutoring.”
Lopez welcomed Emme and Maximilian in 2008 with her ex-husband Marc Anthony, while Rodriguez shares Natasha, 14, and Ella, 11, with his ex-wife, Cynthia Scurtis.
When it comes to coparenting with Anthony, 51, the Golden Globe nominee has kept things amicable. “We’re just in a really great place, and the kids get to spend time with the two of us more together and see us working together,” she revealed on Live With Kelly in 2017. “We’re always gonna be great friends. I’m always gonna be there for him, he’s always gonna be there for me.”
She and the former New York Yankees player got engaged in March after two years of dating. Four months later, a source told Us Weekly exclusively how happy Lopez is with her future husband.
“Jennifer feels like she finally met her match and that he is really ‘The One’ she was destined to be with,” the insider said at the time. Alex is obsessed with Jennifer [and] positions her as a ‘gift from God.’”
