Meatball on board! Deena Nicole Cortese is pregnant and expecting a boy with her husband, Chris Buckner.
“Chris and I Decided to wait until we were ready to spill the beans! 💙 Now that we are safely into our second trimester.. us and our little monkey are ready to tell the world Our little family is growing !” the 31-year-old Jersey Shore star captioned an Instagram photo taken by Magic Toast Photography of the couple standing next to a sign that reads “We’re so excited to say a little firecracker is on the way! Baby Buckner. December 2018.”
“We have a sweet little boy on the way!” Cortese continued. “We Are truly blessed and our hearts are filled with so much joy and happiness💙 December can’t come soon enough! Daddy and Mommy can’t wait to meet you Christopher John ❤ you are going to be the most spoiled little boy ever!!!!”
The MTV reality star, who wed Buckner in October 2017, opened up exclusively to Us Weekly about her baby fever earlier this year.
“We plan on starting to try. We’re trying! I’m very excited,” she told Us at the Jersey Shore: Family Vacation premiere in Los Angeles on March 29. “He wants to have three. I would be fine with two, but the more the merrier, right?”
“I talk to the girls all the time about it and they say, ‘Listen, you’re going to be trying but don’t get crazy about it because it won’t happen,’” Cortese continued, referring to her Jersey Shore castmates Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi and Jenni “JWoww” Farley. “I have anxiety to begin with so I’m trying to be like super chill about it but, you know, it takes time. They told me not to stress out about it or think too much, just to have fun and when it happens it happens. That’s what we’re doing.”
The cast of Jersey Shore started filming season 2 of the reunion series, Jersey Shore: Family Vacation, in Las Vegas earlier this month. They are also filming part of season 2 in Seaside Heights, New Jersey, where the original series was shot. Us Weekly can confirm that Cortese is filming the second season of the reboot.
