“[My daughters are] there for each other,” the reality star, 26, said. “They’ll help each other. They’re defending each other. That’s what matters.”

She added: “Aleeah had trouble for a while because Ali does require a lot of attention with her medical stuff, but as time as progressed, we have found a way that works for us, giving Aleeah her attention or her own time. She’s in things, then Ali’s in things. We just found a way.”

Alianna is living with a rare form of muscular dystrophy, and the degenerative condition will one day require her to use a wheelchair.

“Ali’s doing great. We just went to Columbus and she had a wonderful appointment,” Messer told Us. “She told her therapist, ‘My heart is great, I passed all my tests. I did an amazing job.’”

As for Adalynn, who was hospitalized in March with an infection, the South Dakota native said that the little one is “doing so much better.”

“She’s still recovering,” she told Us. “They put her on antibiotics for a little while. She still has a little swollen lymph node, we’re just watching and monitoring it.”

Messer welcomed her twins in 2009 with then-boyfriend Corey Simms. She shares Adalynn, who arrived in 2013, with her ex-husband, Jeremy Calvert.

“They’ve never known life without cameras around,” the MTV personality told Us of her brood. “It’s crazy. They’re entertainers, for real!”
