Pregnant Carrie Underwood Admits to Wearing Husband Mike Fisher’s Clothes Because Hers Don’t Fit

Carrie Underwood’s baby bump has undergone a makeover! The country star, who is expecting her second child with Mike Fisher, admitted to borrowing her husband’s duds out of necessity.

“Officially wearing Mike’s clothes in public now, so … #pregnant #MyClothesDontFit #sorrybabe,” Underwood, 35, tweeted on Wednesday, November 28.

The former Nashville Predators player, 38, responded to his wife’s tweet with a funny comeback. “How dare you stretch my clothes,” he wrote on Twitter, adding a laugh-cry emoji.

Us Weekly broke the news on November 21 that the couple’s baby boy — they are already parents of 3-year-old son Isaiah — will arrive in the new year. “January,” Taylor Dye of country music duo Maddie & Tae told Us of Underwood’s due date. “And we’ve already offered to babysit.”

The “Cry Pretty” singer spoke out about her fashion choices amid her bump’s growth when she cohosted the 2018 Country Music Association Awards on November 14. “The wardrobe is kind of a challenge when you don’t recognize your own body, but I have the most incredible stylists,” she told Us at the time. “I feel kinda bad for returning dresses that are not maternity dresses all stretched out in the middle. But I’m sure they can put them back together.”

Underwood also opened up about preparing for her second child after suffering three miscarriages. “It took us a while to get here … I’m gonna cry again,” the American Idol alum said. “[I’m] just so thankful … to find out Isaiah’s gonna have a baby brother. It was just great news. We’re excited.”

Of being a working mother, the “Love Wins” crooner told Us exclusively in October: “Balance is what it’s all about. No matter what your job is. Being a mom, working and dividing your time. It is what we all have to do as mothers.”
