She’s got that pregnancy glow! Jessica Simpson showed off her growing belly at LAX on Friday, September 21, after flying back from New York City with husband Eric Johnson.
In the photos, the entrepreneur wears a metallic silk kimono over a black dress and matching Fendi slides as she holds her bump protectively. The former 49ers tight end, dressed in a baseball cap, a hoodie and jeans, walks slightly ahead with one hand in his pocket.
A source told Us Weekly that the “Irresistible” singer, 38, and the football player, 39, were affectionate during their two-day trip to the Big Apple.
“They arrived to NY in good [spirits] … arm in arm… looking really in love and flashing big smiles at the airport,” the eyewitness said.
The eyewitness also revealed that Johnson was the perfect gentleman as the pair walked to their car. “Eric was really attentive to Jessica and remained close to her.”
Simpson posted several photos from their trip to Instagram on Friday. “Flights are VERY long while pregnant,” she captioned a selfie.
She also shared a photo of herself cradling her growing belly, writing, “Baby Girl and I are saying Bye Bye Big Apple.”
The expectant mommy has stepped out multiple times since confirming she is expecting her third child, with several pictures posted to Instagram on Tuesday, September 18.
“This little baby girl will make us a family of five,” the fashion designer wrote on two shots of daughter Maxwell, 6, and son Ace, 5, holding black balloons that contained smaller pink ones within. “We couldn’t be happier to announce this precious blessing of life.”
As an insider told Us that Simpson and Johnson were “surprised but overjoyed” to be welcoming baby number three.
Added a second source, “Jessica and Eric are over the moon. They are so happy and very excited … It’s fun because Ace and Maxwell are at an age where they understand what is happening. They are really cute waiting for their baby sister.”
Simpson previously told Ellen DeGeneres that she wasn’t intending to have a third child. “I have two beautiful children and I’m not having a third,” she said at the time, adding, “They’re too cute! You can’t top that.”
The musician and the athlete got married in 2014 after a four-year engagement.
