Pregnant Khloe Kardashian isn’t keeping boyfriend Tristan Thompson up at night with her labor and delivery fears.
“I’ve seen over eight births live and in person,” wrote the 33-year-old in a Monday, April 9, post on her website titled “Why I’m Not Afraid About Giving Birth.” Kardashian, who is due any day with a baby girl, added that she reads her pregnancy apps daily and turns to her Ob-Gyn with any questions. “Of course I’m a little nervous to go into labor,” she admitted. “But I’m trying to not overthink something that happens all the time.”
Khloe’s sister Kim Kardashian would beg to differ. The reality star, 37, revealed earlier this month that Khloe refuses to even discuss what will happen in the delivery room. “You cannot tell her anything right now that’s too sensitive because she’s just so freaked out,” Kim told Entertainment Tonight in an April 3 interview. Other topics that are off-limits according to Kim include “nipples and breast-feeding.”
Kim, who is mom of North, 4, Saint, 2, and 3-month-old Chicago, is giving Khloe the space she needs. “She’s seen us all go through it. She’s prepared,” she said. “I know when to push it and when to . . . right now isn’t a time to freak her out. The closer it gets, you can’t freak someone out.”
Khloe will be welcoming her bundle of joy in Ohio where Thompson plays for the Cleveland Cavaliers. Her mom, Kris Jenner, will be in town for her granddaughter’s debut.
Us Weekly first broke the news in September 2017 that the Good American designer and her athlete love are expecting their first child. She later confirmed the pregnancy in a December Instagram post, calling it her “greatest dream realized.”
