RHOC’s Heather Dubrow and Plastic Surgeon Husband Terry Dubrow Won’t Let Daughter, 16, Get Lip Fillers

Just because Terry Dubrow is a plastic surgeon doesn’t mean Heather Dubrow is comfortable with their 16-year-old daughter, Maximillia, getting any work done.

“She talks about lip filler,” the Real Housewives of Orange County alum, 51, said on the Wednesday, September 2, episode of the “Hollywood Raw” podcast. “Lip filler is something that years ago was a no-no and then Kylie Jenner came out and said she had done lip filler at a younger age, [and] it became really popular. [Maximillia’s] friends have had it done.”

The former reality star said that when the teenager asked them about the procedure, she and the Botched star, 61, “looked at each other like, ‘Are you crazy?’”

The New York native, who also shares Nicholas, 16, Katarina, 14, and Collette, 9, added, “We’ve said no to that. I think you should be 18 to make a decision like that. Anything that’s just a cosmetic issue I think the older the better. Your body has to finish developing and your brain has to finish developing.”

The former Bravo personality noted that if Maximillia’s ears were “sticking out” or she was being “teased,” she would consider plastic surgery as an option.

The high school student came out as bisexual in July, and her parents are happy to see her “so confident and comfortable in who she is.”

Heather told Entertainment Tonight at the time: “She has our full support. I knew for a long time — [my husband] had discussed this with me, for a long time.”

Terry chimed in, saying he “always weirdly knew” that Maximillia wasn’t heterosexual. “It made me feel good that at least, in today’s world, one of the brighter spots is that you don’t have to be embarrassed or insecure or anxious, necessarily, about coming out,” the Los Angeles native added. “She felt free and the acceptance of her coming out was so amazing.”
