True love! Tristan Thompson celebrated daughter True’s first birthday with a heartwarming message on social media.
“True-ly Perfect,” the NBA player, 28, captioned a series of Instagram pictures of the child, whom he shares with ex Khloé Kardashian, on Friday, April 12. “My baby girl is one today. Man time goes by soo fast but i’m loving every minute of it. Can’t wait for us to sit home all day and watch lion king and paw patrol lol. #MyTwin.”
Kardashian, 34, who was not featured in any of the photos Thompson uploaded, posted her own emotional tribute to True minutes later. “Happy birthday my sweet True!! You are my ultimate True love,” the Good American cofounder captioned several snapshots of the baby posing with countless pink balloon. “I am honored and so thankful to be your mommy! Today and until the end of time, I love you!! We have forever.”
Earlier on Friday, several other members of the Kardashian-Jenner family also celebrated True’s birthday with sweet notes. “Happy birthday to our beautiful angel True!! You are ONE today!” Kris Jenner wrote on Instagram. “What a blessing you are to our family… You are the most precious gift, and I love you more than words can say.”
Kim Kardashian, for her part, tweeted, “Happy 1st Birthday!!! You are so special. I couldn’t have dreamed of a better best friend for you than your cousin [Chicago West]. Seeing how close you are is exactly how mom & I are and so we know how much fun you guys are going to have! I will always be here for you my sweet baby True.”
True was born just days after Thompson was caught cheating on the former Kocktails With Khloé host with multiple women. The Strong Looks Better Naked author gave the Canadian athlete another chance following the infidelity, but ended their relationship in February after he was caught kissing Jordyn Woods at a party in Los Angeles.
While Khloé called the hookup “humiliating,” she promised to never keep Thompson from their daughter. “He is a good dad to her,” she tweeted in March. “My sweet and special baby True will NEVER be put in the middle of him and I. I can promise that.”
