Pregnant Ashley Graham Shares Advice From Kim Kardashian, Amy Schumer and More in 1st 'Vogue' Cover Story: 5 Revelations

Calling all moms! Ashley Graham has been raking in advice from Kim Kardashian and other celebrity mothers since announcing her pregnancy in August. “Kim immediately started telling me, ‘Ashley, the pregnancy may be the hardest part, but the birth is the easiest,’” the model, 32, admitted in her January 2020 Vogue cover story, published on Friday, December 6. “I’m just taking in advice from everyone and not putting too much pressure on myself.” When it comes to the nitty gritty, the New Model author gets texts from Serena Williams about all aspects of pregnancy. The tennis star, 38, told the magazine: “I text her anything that rolls off my mind. I was one of those people who wanted to know every ugly detail of what happens ... down there ...  what happens everywhere. Like, why are my nipples so big a week into being pregnant? This makes no sense; the baby doesn’t need to eat yet. I wanted to know every single thing, and I still love talking about it. Because I feel like it’s important to kind of change the narrative and be like, it’s normal to feel scared, and not be one of those women who are like, ‘Oh, it’s so great!’ Just be scared out of your mind. That’s normal.” Amy Schumer has also taken the Nebraska native under her wing, giving her a tour of her nursery. “I was like, ‘Come over and I’ll just tell you what I have learned and what I wish I knew,’” the actress, also 38, explained. It has been the best journey with my favorite person in the world! Her Pregnancy Hormones Are All Over the Place…

“I was with Justin [the other day] eating an almond butter–and–jelly sandwich, and I took one bite and all of a sudden, I starting welling up,” she told Vogue. “And then full-on crying! I was chewing and eating and sobbing.”

And during her August trip to St. Bart’s with Ervin, 31, Graham couldn’t stop laughing over “the way he put soap on his hands” while washing them, she admitted. “I started laughing so hard that I went into hysterics,” the model added. “I said to Justin, ‘If you said something to me right now that was sad, I might start crying.’ And he just stared at me. And then: the tears!”

… And So Is Her Sex Life

The couple are having “really different” experiences in the bedroom now that she’s pregnant, the former America's Next Top Model judge admitted. “There’s this huge bulge that can be sensitive if you lay on it or go into a new position. I’ve been literally asking every single one of my friends who have had babies or who’re pregnant, like, ‘What positions do you guys do?’ This has to be a normal conversation among mothers.”

The little one is due on January 11 and “will be a Capricorn — just like his dad,” Graham gushed.

Her Next Move

Although Graham has lived in the same Park Slope, Brooklyn, apartment since she was 17, she and Ervin bought themselves a three-story loft that is currently under renovation. “I’ve been putting away my money,” the American Beauty Star host explained. “I mean, I wasted money or other things like clothes and . . . caviar. But this apartment is a really big deal for me.”
