Ali Fedotowsky Dishes on Bachelorette Sex, Defends Kaitlyn Bristowe: 95 Percent of Stars Do It

Ali Fedotowsky
Ali Fedotowsky dished on sex on The Bachelorette in a new blog post after Kaitlyn Bristowe slept with Nick Viall on the June 22 episode: "I would argue that 95% of the Bachelors and Bachelorettes do have sex on the show."

Spilling those secrets! After Kaitlyn Bristowe and Nick Viall had sex on the most recent episode of The Bachelorette, former star Ali Fedotowsky dished via her personal blog exactly how many contestants on the show get busy between the sheets.

"I remember when I was the Bachelorette and I had to be SO careful about kissing the guys and other guys seeing," Fedotowsky, 30, recalled of her stint as the Season 6 Bachelorette in 2010. "I mean OBVIOUSLY you’re going to kiss more than one guy when you are expected to find your husband out of 25 random guys in less than 3 months. Intimacy matters in a relationship and you have to test the waters!"

Unlike many of the guys in the house, Fedotowsky revealed that she's actually a supporter of 34-year-old Viall. "Nick gets the first 1-on-1 date – no real surprise there, but the guys HAVE GOT to be nervous at this point," she noted. "[Kaitlyn's] dates with Nick seem the most natural to me. More natural than any dates I’ve ever seen on the Bachelorette. All the dates are always too serious or too awkward and with Nick, it just seems normal. I’m into it. And obviously so was Kaitlyn."

As witnessed on the Monday, June 22, episode of the show, Bristowe and Viall took their flirtatious one-on-one date in Dublin, Ireland, back to her hotel room, where they slept together. Bristowe explained to ABC News on Tuesday that she was taking advantage of the moment, and her relationship with Viall (a finalist on Andi Dorfman's season) just happened to move "a little quicker than the others." However, some viewers lashed out against the series' leading lady.

Like longtime host Chris Harrison, Fedotowsky also defended the Bachelorette on Tuesday, saying Bristowe wasn't the first to have sex on the show. "Let me just dive into this topic by saying slut shaming is NOT COOL! What is wrong with people?!?! I mean really," she sniped. "It makes me SO angry that there is such a double standard in this world when it comes to men and women having sex. I can assure you that Kaitlyn is NOT the first person to have sex with someone on the show."

She then estimated the percentage of stars who've slept with contestants on the reality series. "In fact, I would argue that 95% of the Bachelors and Bachelorettes DO have sex on the show," the Bachelor Nation member dished.

"Sure, Kaitlyn did it before the infamous fantasy suite, but does that really matter? I’ve heard Mike Fleiss (the creator of the show) say that one of the Bachelors had sex with something like 6 of his 25 women!!! I’m not going to say who that Bachelor is, but people didn’t slut shame him. So stop judging Kaitlyn for following her heart annnnnnd her vagina."
