Nice work, Clooney! The actor’s fiancee, Amal Alamuddin, touched down at Heathrow Airport in London on Tuesday, May 13, sporting her mega-bling and a smile on her beautiful face.
Alamuddin, 36, who celebrated her engagement in Malibu last weekend with his famous friends like Cindy Crawford, Bono, and more, looked L.A.-chic for her return back to the European city. The British human rights attorney wore a pair of faded torn jeans beneath a baggy sweater and aviator shades as she spoke on her phone.
At one point, the future Mrs. Clooney flipped her hair, giving observers a good look at her huge emerald-cut engagement bling. After spending time with the Oscar winner, 53, on the West Coast, Alamuddin appeared well-rested and relaxed.
An onlooker at Cafe Habana, where the couple toasted to their engagement news on Sunday, May 11, told Us that Clooney “seemed sweet” with his fiancee. “I saw them kiss once, and he had his arm around her the majority of the time,” the eyewitness added. “They looked very happy.”
Since his April 22 proposal, Clooney’s friends and family members have been unable to contain their joy over the eternal bachelor’s decision to get married again. The actor’s father Nick Clooney told Us Weekly the family was “thrilled” over George’s engagement news to “this wonderful young woman.”

“He likes a woman with brains and class,” a source told Us of Clooney’s pick. “She’s the full package… He’s happy and found his ideal match. He didn’t settle, so good for him.”
Close Clooney pal Julia Roberts reiterated the same sentiments in an interview with Ellen DeGeneres last week, describing the engagement as “sublime.” The August: Osage County star gushed, “[Amal] is beautiful and smart, and he is happy, and that’s what matters to me.”
