Dangerous woman! Ariana Grande got into a cringeworthy argument with Ryan Seacrest during his radio show on Thursday, September 15. Watch it go down in the clip above!
It all went down when the TV personality, 41, suggested that the pop star, 23, confirmed her relationship with rapper Mac Miller with an Instagram photo last week. In the pic, she hugged her “baabyyy” on the ground.
“Oh, is that what I did? Is that what Instagram means to you now? All right world, let’s go,” Grande sniped. “What was that segue?”
“Well, I don’t know,” Seacrest replied. “I’m asking.”
The “Into You” singer didn’t miss a beat. “What are you asking? You said a sentence, there was no question. … I don’t know, man,” she snarled.
Seacrest clapped back: “Well, come on, man.”
Grande refused to go into detail about her rumored romance with Miller, 24. “It’s like, ‘Good morning, On Air With Ryan Seacrest.’ It’s too early for this kind of tea. It’s too early, man,” she complained, looking off to the side at someone.
Seacrest didn’t let up, though, and appeared to get agitated. “That’s what we do. If you post something — even in my life — if I post something, it becomes something.”
Grande replied: “If I post something, then that’s what I’m willing to share at the moment. That doesn’t mean that you, Ryan Seacrest, with millions of listeners, are entitled to more information.”
The interview wasn’t entirely awkward. At one point, Grande raved about Madonna and revealed that she’s gone to several of the icon’s tours. They even sang together during one of the shows.
Earlier this week, Grande also fielded questions about the rapper when she appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. However, she seemed more flustered than frustrated at the time.
“This is so crazy! I’ve never had the relationship talk on a show before. … No pressure,” she said while in the hot seat.
As previously reported, Grande and Miller were spotted kissing during a dinner date in Encino, California, on August 21. (The pair collaborated on her 2013 “The Way” and recent “Into You” remix.) Days later, they attended the MTV Video Music Awards together.
