Tag-teaming it. Ben Affleck opened up about coparenting with estranged wife Jennifer Garner at the L.A. premiere of his film The Accountant on Monday, October 10.
“We do our best. We try our best,” Affleck, 44, told Entertainment Tonight. He joked: “My areas of expertise with the kids [are] spotty at best. Not homework.”
Affleck and the Alias alum, 44, announced the end of their 10-year marriage in June 2015. The pair, who have remained amicable and have yet to move forward with a legal divorce, are parents of Violet, 10, Seraphina, 7, and Samuel, 4.

Since last year, the exes have traveled together on several occasions. One month after their split news, the family stayed in Atlanta while Garner filmed Miracles from Heaven. This past summer, the family of five temporarily relocated to London so Affleck could reprise his Batman role in Justice League.
For Affleck, his children are always on his mind. He told ET that his movie trailers are often filled with “personal stuff” made from them. “Drawings and art,” he said. “It’s a good place to hang up the latest artwork to come out of school.”
Back in March, Garner similarly opened up about coparenting. “People have been so kind to my whole family, and we really do appreciate it. But, you know what, we’re doing really well. … The kids are great,” she told the Today show’s Savannah Guthrie. “We will make it work.”
“We are definitely a modern family,” she added to Natalie Morales in August. “We’re doing really well.”
