The number of women Bill Cosby has reportedly sexually abused is nearing 50. During a press conference in Los Angeles on Wednesday, Aug. 12, attorney Gloria Allred brought forth three more alleged victims, who each shared disturbing details of their alleged encounters with the 78-year-old actor.
Colleen Hughes, Linda Ridgeway Whitedeer, and Eden Tirl sat down with the lawyer and recounted to reporters when they crossed paths with Cosby in their twenties. According to Hughes, who was a flight attendant at the time, Cosby allegedly drank champagne from her Gucci footwear during their meeting at his hotel. “He raised the shoe toward me offering the drink in my shoe to me and said, ‘A princess should always drink champagne out of a glass slipper.'” Hughes said she passed, but opted for a glass of champagne. She claims she passed out and woke up in his hotel room hours later and felt semen on her back. “Bill obviously didn’t use a condom,” she said. 
Allred, who represents the three woman as well as 21 other Cosby accusers, explained why it has taken so long for the alleged victims to tell their stories. “Many of them were in fear because they had never spoken out publicly about anything and certainly in some cases had never even told family, co-workers, and friends about what they allege Mr. Cosby did to them,” the attorney said.
Hughes, now 64, said she ran into Cosby again after the alleged attack and confronted him. “It was obvious to me that he did not remember me and [he] used the same line about how I was a ‘fine Irish lass,’” she claimed. “I told him, ‘You already had me once and I don’t want to ever be drugged by you again.'” According to Hughes, Cosby asked her if she ever told anyone and she told him, “You are Bill Cosby, who would believe me?”
Whitedeer, now 69, claims she was attacked by Cosby in 1971 when she went to talk to him about her acting career. “His attack was fast with surgical precision and surprise on his side,” she said of the alleged encounter, adding that she was forced to give him oral sex and that he told her, “I had been blessed with his semen, like holy water.”
Tirl, now 49, appeared in episodes of The Cosby Show and avoided physical contact with Cosby, but claimed that after a 1989 taping, he came onto her, telling her, “That’s all were going to do, make love.” Tirl said she left the dressing room before anything else could happen.
Allred also represents Judy Huth, another alleged victim, who filed a civil suit last December against the actor, claiming Cosby molested her at the Playboy Mansion more than 40 years ago. Earlier this month, Cosby was ordered by a Los Angeles County Superior judge to give a sworn deposition in October regarding Huth’s accusations.
In documents obtained by the Associated Press in July, Cosby admitted to getting Quaaludes and other sedatives with the intent of giving them to women he wanted to have sex with during a 2005 testimony. The testimony showed that Cosby testified under oath to giving three half-pills of Benadryl to a former Temple University employee who filed the lawsuit. Cosby, who previously sat on the school’s board of trustees until resigning in December 2014, settled the case in 2006 for an undisclosed amount.
Model Janice Dickinson, who has also filed a lawsuit against the sitcom star, was the first celebrity to come forward with accusations against the former TV dad. The comedians lawyers have continued to deny the allegations against him.
