Brody Jenner hasn’t talked to Kim Kardashian since she was robbed and held at gunpoint in Paris earlier this month, but he did send her a message of support. The DJ, who was famously not invited to the Selfish author’s May 2014 nuptials to Kanye West, told Us Weekly at the Mohegan Sun 20th Anniversary Party, in Uncasville, Connecticut, Sunday, October 16, that he reached out to his former stepsister after the incident.
“I don’t want to get too much into it, but I’ll say I haven’t talked to Kim; I’ve texted her to show my support and let her know I’m thinking of her. Other than that, I haven’t spoken to her,” the former MTV reality star said when asked how Kardashian was doing.
“I wish her all the best, I really do,” Jenner added, noting that he has “no idea what’s going on.”
As previously reported, Kardashian was gagged and bound while multiple thieves robbed her of $10 million in jewelry, including her new 20-carat diamond ring from husband Kanye West.
On Monday, October 17, Us Weekly learned new information about the terrifying incident and the thieves, who are still at large. According to a Paris judicial police source, the robbers were inside Kardashian and West’s private residence for nearly an hour and “clearly knew the security code” to gain entrance into the luxurious building.
“They acted like they had all the time in the world,” the police insider told Us, adding that authorities gathered the new information from a traffic camera. “It is quite incredible that they managed to hang about for so long without anyone calling us.”
Although she was understandably shaken from the incident, Kardashian’s lawyer, Jean Veil, told Us that the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star is doing what she can to aid in the investigation.
“She is very calm and very determined over a matter that was particularly violent,” Veil told Us on Monday. “If she is summoned to France, she will come to France, but judges also have the possibility of moving [to the United States].”
