News broke on Thursday that the longtime couple exchanged vows in a secret ceremony on Saturday, Aug. 23. Pitt, 50, said "I do" to Jolie, 39, after almost 10 years together. The ceremony was held at their Chateau Miraval estate in France, and included a small group of close family members and friends.
The children of the expansive Jolie-Pitt family were involved in the wedding, too, as Maddox, 13, Pax, 10, Zahara, 9, Shiloh, 8, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 6, all took part in the ceremony. The movie stars got engaged in early 2012 and were coy in recent months about their plans for the future.
The wedding precedes Clooney's own upcoming nuptials to his fiancée, Amal Alamuddin.
Jolie herself speculated in a recent interview that Clooney, 53, would be married before she and Brad tied the knot. She told Entertainment Tonight in May that she expected Clooney would be the first to have a ring on his finger.
