‘Tis the season! Joe Jonas has been giving a lot of serious interviews lately, but the former Disney star took to Instagram on Dec. 12 to have a bit of fun. Jonas posted an obviously Photoshopped picture of “himself” with a bald head and wearing a festive turtleneck.
In the picture, the 24-year-old star is cradling a fluffy cat, and the caption reads, “It’s getting cold. Cuddle up with a kitten.”
Jonas found the original image on a list of the most “awkward” family holiday cards. It’s nice to see the middle Jonas brother joking again after several serious stories surrounded the star this year.
In October 2013, Joe and his brothers Nick and Kevin Jonas announced that after recently reuniting their band, The Jonas Brothers, the group was splitting up for good.
And earlier this month, Joe published a telling essay in New York magazine about Disney’s somewhat negative involvement in his career.
In it, Jonas also revealed that he first smoked weed with ex-girlfriend Demi Lovato and wild child Miley Cyrus at age 17 or 18, and fell down the stairs after drinking on his 21st birthday.
Jonas received mostly positive feedback from his tell-all, including support from his ex Lovato, 21.
“I want to commend him for how brave he was. He never was able to share his side of the story, he kept it really quiet. I was going through my stuff, and he got blamed for a lot of it,” she told Us at a NYLON magazine event earlier this month. “When in reality, I have my stuff and we argue like brother and sister now. It’s like, ‘Dude, what were you thinking?’ But it’s all good. I was like, Don’t be embarrassed or whatever. I still love you. We’re still family. It’s all good.'”
