Macaulay Culkin and Brenda Song laughed off a photographer who mistakenly called them “Mr. and Mrs. Culkin” on a red carpet on Sunday, September 13.
“Not yet! Not yet!” Song, 38, clarified with a smile as the couple posed for photos at Warner Bros. Television Group’s 78th Primetime Emmy Awards Nominees Celebration in West Hollywood.
The Suite Life of Zack & Cody alum then turned to Culkin, 46, and patted him on the chest before teasing, “Soon!”
The Home Alone star jokingly rolled his eyes and declared, “Maybe someday — if I’m lucky!”
The couple coordinated their outfits for the event, which was held one day before Culkin is set to present at the 2026 Primetime Emmy Awards in Los Angeles. He wore a sparkling gray blazer over a black button-down shirt and pants while Song opted for a glittery black strapless gown.
Culkin and Song met in 2014 and started dating in 2017 while filming the 2019 movie Changeland. A source confirmed to Us in 2022 that they had quietly gotten engaged.
The actors became parents in 2021 with the arrival of their son Dakota. They named the baby after Macaulay’s sister Dakota Culkin, who was tragically killed at age 29 in 2008 after being hit by a car.
Macaulay and Song welcomed another son, Carson, in 2022. (Carson is the My Girl star’s middle name.)
During a joint interview with Cosmopolitan last year, the former Disney Channel actress revealed that she and Macaulay have “talked about eloping,” though she quipped that her mom “would have a heart attack” if they forwent a big wedding celebration with family and friends.
The American Horror Story alum, for his part, told the magazine that the pair are not in a rush to walk down the aisle because they are in agreement about their future together either way. He went on to recall telling Song, “‘I want the things that you want. I’m in this to the end, to the very end.'”
The Running Point star recently gushed about her fiancé while sharing how he influences her style.
“The thing about Mac that I love — and I really strive to take inspiration from him — is that he’s very confident in who he is, in his style, in the way he looks,” she exclusively told Us last month. “So when he steps out of the house, whether it’s in a graphic tee or in a full suit, it’s all about confidence.”
